Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman Underground to construct and repair underground distribution systems with a strong safety focus. The role involves work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, and reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installation and repair of underground facilities, fault locating, learning switching procedures, and working in confined spaces under supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside normal hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair underground distribution systems safely.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines and troubleshoot faults.
• Learn switching, tagging, grounding, and voltage testing procedures under supervision.
• Operate excavation equipment and perform outdoor field work in varied conditions.
• Work outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotations.
