Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman Underground to safely construct and repair electrical underground distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites across the country as needed, and report to the Foreman.

The role requires two years of underground line experience, a valid CDL Class A, and a willingness to travel long distances on short notice. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside regular hours, including emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work outside normal hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized underground distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Assist in installing underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot and fault locate on primary/secondary systems.
• Learn switching, tagging procedures, grounding and voltage control on energized/de-energized lines.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at multiple job sites; support outages and emergency response.
