Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman Underground to construct and repair underground distribution systems. This safety-focused role involves work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

Emphasis on safety and versatility for out-of-state assignments is essential. Responsibilities include construction, maintenance, fault locating, switching under supervision, and operating excavation equipment in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair underground distribution systems.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
• Learn switching, tagging, grounding procedures and test energized lines under supervision.
• Work in confined spaces near energized equipment under direct supervision.
• Operate excavation equipment and perform outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
