Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking a Line Locator Technician to accurately detect, locate, and mark underground utilities. You will work outdoors, using locating equipment, interpreting maps, and documenting findings with digital tools.

Training will be provided, and safety is a core focus as you operate in varying field conditions. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and comfortable with physical field tasks.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and communicate in English to perform duties safely.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Detect, locate, and mark underground utility lines and pipes.
• Read and interpret utility maps and tickets from 811 system.
• Use locating tools to identify and mark locations with color-coded markings.
• Document completed work using digital devices and field reports.
