Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems. You will assist the team under the supervision of a Foreman, performing essential tasks to build and repair infrastructure across various sites.

The role requires a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days, willingness to travel, and the physical capacity to perform demanding outdoor work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and extended

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds
• Work extended hours including weekends/holidays/overtime

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, repair, and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems
• Support installation and repair of underground facilities and related hardware
• Maintain excavation equipment (backhoes, trenchers, excavators)
• Work outdoors in varied weather and environmental conditions
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotations
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage; inspect PPE and rubber goods
