Sandvik Mining is seeking a Field Service Technician (Underground) / Heavy Duty Mechanic in Kirkland Lake, ON. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical mining equipment, with commissioning of new equipment and on-site training at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic with three years mining equipment experience.
• Proficient reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Willing to travel to local mine sites and across Canada.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Inspect equipment for faults and proper performance.
• Repair/replace defective parts per scope of work.
• Test repaired equipment to confirm operation.
• Commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
