Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a skilled Foreman for West Monroe, LA to lead a crew on electrical underground distribution projects. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to multiple job sites as needed, and report to the General Foreman.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on leadership, and ensuring quality and timely completion. Candidates should have five years’ underground line experience, a CDL, and willingness to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized underground distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe and productive work procedures.
• Oversee work on each project and ensure quality and completion deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults on primary and secondary systems.
• Follow switching, tagging procedures, grounding and equipment safety; operate within PPE requirements.
