Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC in West Monroe, LA, is seeking a safety‑driven Foreman to lead a crew on underground distribution projects, including energized and de‑energized lines. You will travel to job sites as needed and report to the General Foreman, ensuring quality, schedule, and compliance with safety standards.

This role requires five years of underground experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to train junior workers, operate excavation equipment, and perform live‑line work with approved PPE.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized underground distribution systems.
• Oversee work to ensure quality and completion deadlines.
• Perform live-line work using PPE and insulated tools.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protective gear.
