Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. seeks a safety‑driven Foreman to lead crews constructing and repairing underground distribution systems. You’ll work energized and de‑energized lines and may travel to out‑of‑state sites as needed, reporting to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include directing crew work, ensuring quality, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating outages and emergencies as required.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent underground line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 lb.
• Work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Out-of-state assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines; assume responsibility for completion.
• Perform live line work using PPE and insulated sticks.
• Understand switching, tagging, grounding and reclosing device procedures.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage.
