Pike Electric, LLC seeks a safety‑driven Foreman to lead a crew on underground distribution projects, including energized and de‑energized lines. Travel to multiple job sites is required to meet operational needs. You will report to the General Foreman and oversee quality, timelines and safety across diverse field assignments.

Responsibilities include directing operations, coaching junior workers, and maintaining rigorous safety protocols under all conditions, including outages and storms.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended periods, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair underground distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe procedures.
• Oversee project quality and ensure completion deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot voltage on primary/secondary systems.
• Understand switching and tagging procedures, grounding and induced voltage on energized and de‑energized lines with proper PPE.
• Understand when to obtain a one shot on a reclosing device.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel to job sites, including outages and emergencies.
• Perform live‑line work using insulated PPE and sticks for testing and switching.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
