Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in building and repairing underground distribution systems. This safety-focused role requires supervising work on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to multiple job sites as needed, and reporting to the General Foreman.

You will ensure quality, on-time completion, and compliance with safety protocols. Candidates should have at least five years of underground experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel; the job demands lifting

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized underground distribution systems while putting safety first.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe and productive work procedures.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors, including fault locating on primary and secondary systems.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures and use proper PPE and test equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and be available for outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotation.
