Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an entry-level Underground Equipment Operator to support construction, maintenance and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. This position requires working at various locations in Virginia and may involve travel to other states as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent field experience.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to obtain Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair on energized and de-energized underground systems.
• Assist with installing underground transformers.
• Assist in replacing fuses and clearing faulted circuits and systems.
• Capable of working around high voltage and in confined spaces.
