Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Underground Equipment Operator to support construction, maintenance and repair of electrical underground distribution systems in Georgia. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized underground.
• Assist with installing underground transformers.
• Assist in replacing fuses in transformers and clears faulted circuits and systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Capable of working outside, frequently in inclement weather.
