Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Underground Equipment Operator to support construction, maintenance and repair of underground electrical distribution systems across multiple sites. Travel to another state may be required based on customer demands.

You will assist with installing underground transformers, replacing fuses, and working around energized HV systems. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs, read and communicate in English, and be prepared for outdoor work in various weather

Qualifications

• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to work outside in inclement weather.
• May require CDL permit within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance or repair of underground distribution systems.
• Install underground transformers and hook up single-phase transformers.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits and systems.
• Work around energized high voltage systems with safety procedures.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and PPE.
