Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder’s Mathematics Department seeks an Undergraduate Program and Events Professional to support the undergraduate program and manage a high volume of student credit hours, conferences, and travel reimbursements. The role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to plan and execute a wide range of events while ensuring compliance with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and relevant experience considered.
• 1+ years of professional experience in administrative support or front-office roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Calendar).
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Undergraduate Program Support: coordinate curriculum changes, monitor enrollments, enter courses and labs into CU-SIS, assist with waitlists and FCQ administration.
• Event Planning and Management: plan and manage department events, manage budgets, coordinate vendors and attendance, ensure policy compliance.
• Conference Support and Faculty Travel: manage procurement, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and invoice processing in line with policies.
• Other Duties/Special Projects: assist chair or supervisor, identify improvements and support departmental initiatives.
