Job summary

Allied Universal in Plain City, OH is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring). You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, monitor entrances, and report security-related concerns while delivering courteous customer service.

The shift schedule is Daytime with 06:00–14:00 hours; compensation is $17.98 per hour. Minimum requirements include being 18+ with high school diploma; background check and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building exteriors, access points, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with site procedures.
