Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Anchorage, AK. You will protect personnel and assets through patrols, access control, and timely incident reporting, following client policies and NMS values.

The role includes a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation, requiring alertness for emergencies and strong customer service. Travel and on-site coordination may be involved in BP/Alyeska contracts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of full-time security/military experience.
• Must be able to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, facilities, and grounds by foot, vehicle, or electronic monitoring systems.
• Control access by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Inspect doors and other access points and report deficiencies.
• Observe and report security incidents, hazards, and property damage.
• Enforce policies, manage rule violations, and remove unauthorized persons as needed.
• Coordinate visitor access and respond to emergencies, alarms, and medical incidents.
• Operate and maintain access control and building systems; document personnel and visitors.
• Complete required reports accurately and timely.
