Job summary

Denali Universal Services is seeking Armed Security Officers for the Alyeska Pipeline protection. The role involves enforcing safety, patrolling, access control, and responding to incidents with professional conduct.

This rotation requires a 2 week on / 2 week off schedule in Glennallen, AK; housing is not provided and officers return to their residence after shifts. A valid Alaska security license or ability to obtain, ETT, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Armed Security Guard license or ability to obtain one in Alaska.
• ETT certification or ability to obtain.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute post orders and enforce policies with professional interactions.
• Protect people, property, and assets by preventing theft and unsafe activities.
• Conduct patrols, investigations, and identify suspicious activity; take appropriate action.
• Respond to emergencies with rescue and fire suppression as needed.
• Safely operate vehicles and security equipment; document incidents clearly.
• Maintain composure and confidentiality across varied schedules and environments.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 21 years of age

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Armed Security Guard License (State of Alaska) or ability to obtain

Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) certification or ability to obtain

Pre-employment screening (drug screen, background)
