Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to protect personnel, property and assets through patrols, access control and emergency response at the Anchorage site. You will ensure compliance with policies while delivering professional customer service.

The role follows a two weeks on/off rotation, requires standing/walking up to 12 hours, and emphasizes teamwork, judgment and English communication. Previous security or military background is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of full-time security/law enforcement/military experience preferred.
• Post-secondary education may substitute for some experience.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to employment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract-specific software.
• Must complete pre-employment requirements and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds by foot, vehicle, or electronic monitoring.
• Control access to client facilities by verifying IDs and entries.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates and other access points for security.
• Report damage, unusual activity, and safety hazards promptly.
• Enforce policies and remove unauthorized persons when needed.
• Coordinate visitor access and notify staff of visitors.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and fires.
• Operate security systems and document authorized personnel and visitors.
• Monitor facility systems and report operational issues.
• Provide transport as required and assist with basic medical response.
