Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Alaska Guard License eligibility required; applicant responsible for licensing fee.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for past three years.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, facilities, and grounds by foot, vehicle, or electronic monitoring systems.
• Control access to client facilities by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and other access points for security and report deficiencies.
• Observe and report property damage, unusual occurrences, and security incidents.
• Enforce policies and remove unauthorized persons when appropriate.
• Coordinate visitor access per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations to protect life and property.
• Operate and maintain access control systems and documentation of personnel and visitors.
• Monitor facility systems and report operational issues.
• Provide transportation services as required.
