Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Anchorage, AK. You will patrol, control access, respond to emergencies, and provide customer service while upholding policies and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain an Alaska Guard License prior to employment. Pre-employment screening is part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional security experience.
• Alaska Guard License must be obtained prior to employment; applicant covers fee.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record in past three years.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to employment.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English per contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, facilities, and grounds by foot or vehicle.
• Control access by verifying IDs and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates and report deficiencies.
• Document and report incidents, safety hazards, and property damage.
• Enforce policies; address violations and remove unauthorized persons.
• Notify and coordinate visitor access according to procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and medical incidents to protect life.
• Operate and maintain access control systems and documentation.
• Monitor building systems and report operational issues.
• Provide transportation support as required.
• Provide emergency medical response within training scope.
