Job summary

ASRC in Anchorage is seeking a Security Officer for a rotational, on-site role. The position follows a two week on / two week off schedule and requires residing in the Anchorage area.

Housing or transportation are not provided, and applicants must pass pre-employment screenings including a background check and drug test. Qualified candidates will hold an armed security license in Alaska, be able to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications, and demonstrate strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 21 years of age with security experience preferred.
• Candidate must be licensed as an Armed Security Officer in Alaska.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Enforce client policies and procedures at the site.
• Protect people, assets and premises from security incidents.
• Control access of personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Perform security patrols and respond to alarms and outages.
• Maintain radio/telephone communications and use Office tools as needed.
• Remain alert and operate safely at all times.
