Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and BLS within 6 months. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is required within 6 months; strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training required within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and employees; patrol grounds; mitigate safety hazards.
• Deterrence of criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property.
• Enforce hospital policies including parking and visitation rules.
• Monitor activities via CCTV; respond to emergencies and alarms.
• Document all duties and complete incident reports.
