Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• RSFH-specific licensure and TASER training within stated timelines.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and staff and patrol hospital grounds.
• Respond to routine and emergency requests via radio/phone.
• Enforce hospital policies (parking, visitation, tobacco-free).
• Monitor CCTV and document incidents with reports/logs.
