Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist in Houston, TX to perform diagnostic sonography and manage RIS/PACS documentation. You will follow department protocols, ensure image quality, and maintain safety standards.

You’ll engage with patients and radiologists to deliver accurate, efficient studies. Required ARDMS/ARRT credentials (S), RDMS, BLS, and strong communication skills; preferred PACS/RIS experience and bilingual ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ARDMS or ARRT (S) required
• RDMS, RT(R)(S) certifications
• Active ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 1 year of hire
• BLS certification
• Ability to use keyboard and digital image acquisition

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonography per department protocols
• Maintains RIS/PACS documentation and operates RIS/PACS
• Adheres to ultrasound safety and sterile technique
• Participates in ongoing training and maintains licenses
• Interacts with patients and staff and communicates with the team
