Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography per department protocols. You will use RIS and PACS, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality in imaging across assigned sites.

The candidate will pursue ARDMS/ARRT (S) certification within 1 year, possess a High School diploma or GED, and hold BLS certification. Join a team delivering coordinated, high-quality care with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required within 1 year.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonography according to policies, procedures and protocols of the KSC radiology department.
• Maintains necessary supplies and documentation of cleaning logs as applicable.
• Uses RIS and PACS correctly for radiologist review and documents atypical conditions.
• Conscious of ultrasound safety measures and uses sterile technique.
• Participates in training and continuing education.
