Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; ARDMS or ARRT (S) active certification within 1 year of hire.
• Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• RDMS and RT(R)(S) certifications strongly preferred, ARDMS/ARRT pathway required if not yet active.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonography according to department policies and protocols.
• Maintains equipment and logs; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Uses RIS and PACS systems for imaging documentation and review.
• Maintains ultrasound safety and sterile technique; adheres to safety initiatives.
• Participates in training and continuing education to maintain licenses and credentials.
• Communicates effectively with patients and colleagues and supports a collaborative team environment.
