Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopic studies across locations in Houston. The role requires ARRT registration eligibility and Texas MRT certification, with BLS and ongoing credential maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
• Eligible for ARRT registry and MRT-General Certificate status
• BLS certification required

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopic studies as applicable
• Applies technical principles for optimal image production and accurate positioning
• Communicates instructions clearly to patients considering age-related needs
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor
• Uses RIS and PACS according to department guidelines
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures and sterile technique
• Participates in training and maintains required licenses and credentials
• Collaborates with staff and radiologists to ensure quality patient care

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Eligible for ARRT (R) registry

Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board

ARRT (R)

MRT-General Certificate

BLS certification through American Heart Association
