Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography in accordance with department policies and protocols. You will work with RIS and PACS, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing training.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT(S) certifications, RDMS, RT(R)(S), and BLS with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required; ARDMS or ARRT(S) active within 1 year of hire.
• ARDMS, RDMS and RT(R)(S) certifications required/preferred as listed.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer keyboard proficiency and ability to work with digital image acquisition.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic sonography according to KSC radiology department policies and protocols.
• Participates in routine equipment maintenance and QC measures; reports malfunctions.
• Documents findings in RIS and ensures proper PACS transmission with radiologists.
• Maintains ultrasound safety, sterile technique and adherence to safety initiatives.
• Participates in training and maintains licenses/certifications; performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and other departments; aligns with Mission and Values.
