Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking Ultrasound Technologists to perform ultrasound imaging, explain procedures to patients, obtain histories, and prepare rooms for examinations.

The role includes producing permanent diagnostic records and operating ultrasound equipment under a Radiologist’s supervision. Requirements include completion of a formal training program and RDMS (ARDMS) certification, with 6 months to 1 year post-registry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal training program.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of post registry preferred.
• RDMS (ARDMS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains complete history.
• Independently performs clinical diagnostic examinations and room preparation.
• Provides basic patient care as needed.
• Produces permanent records of diagnostic examinations.
• Under Radiologist supervision, operates ultrasound imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
