Akumin Inc. is hiring a part-time Ultrasound Technologist in Coral Springs, FL, performing outpatient ultrasound exams across general, abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, with BLS certification and proficiency in EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems. You will ensure patient comfort, accurate documentation, and high-quality images while upholding safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• 1–2 years ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient ultrasound examinations (general, abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular as applicable).
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust for optimal diagnostic images per protocols.
• Review orders/history for exam selection and documentation.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety during imaging.
• Assist with room prep, scheduling support, and equipment upkeep.
