AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time night-shift position (Friday–Sunday). You will perform high-quality ultrasound exams, verify patient identity and history, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Requirements include knowledge of ultrasound physics, PACS/Radiology software, and strong patient care skills across all ages. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Ability to use radiology software packages and PACS; comfortable with EMR documentation.
• Strong patient care and communication skills across age groups; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, collects history, and prepares patient and equipment.
• Operates imaging equipment safely; adapts protocols for all ages.
• Maintains EMR and PACS documentation; ensures workflow efficiency.
• Explains procedures to patients; ensures privacy and comfort during exams.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and patient care continuity.
• Performs equipment cleaning, infection control, and inventory checks.
