Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in a high-volume imaging department. You will verify patient history, prepare patients, and operate ultrasound equipment to deliver high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Sonography, ARDMS/ARRT credentials, and strong patient-care skills. Night shift, full-time position in Davenport, FL within a faith-based health system committed to the healing

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to use PACS and radiology software.
• Excellent patient care and communication across ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams following protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam history.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Document findings and maintain EMR/PACS records.
