Job summary

Charlotte Radiology Huntersville location seeks a qualified ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality scans for patients of all ages. You will work Fri-Sun 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with on-site responsibilities, safety oversight, and close collaboration with radiologists and IT staff to ensure accurate imaging and timely documentation.

Apt candidates hold RDMS Abdomen and OB/GYN credentials, an associate degree in radiologic technology, ultrasound experience, and the ability to follow CR protocols

Qualifications

• RDMS Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications are required or preferred.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images under physician supervision.
• Completes paperwork including orders and authorization promptly and accurately.
• Records patient history and correlates results with the exam being performed.
• Monitors safety and patient care throughout the procedure.
• Communicates with radiologist on protocols and imaging requirements.
• Maintains radiology computer systems and PACS/IT coordination as needed.
