Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, document findings, and collaborate with radiologists. The role requires strong knowledge of physics, vascular imaging, and patient care, with emphasis on safety and hygiene.

Weekend night shifts are included, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance up to $1,500. Requires EMS/healthcare credentials and commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Experience with cross-sectional and vascular imaging.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment safely with PPE.
• English reading/writing speaking; other languages preferred.
• Must maintain up-to-date licenses and registries.
• Ability to work with pediatric, neonatal patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images for radiologist interpretation.
• Sterilize transducers and maintain hygiene standards.
• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Document findings in EMR and PACS accurately and timely.
• Educate patients about the exam and manage workflow efficiently.
• Communicate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
