Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist II to perform routine and interventional sonography under radiologist supervision. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT credentials and vascular registration, with opportunities to handle biopsies and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

The position supports an extensive clinical program within a leading healthcare system, emphasizing patient safety, adherence to policy, and effective communication with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Sonography.
• Current ARDMS/ARRT registration in good standing.
• Must be vascular registered with additional OB/Gyn, AB, BR, FE/PS or RVT credentials.
• Minimum of one year hospital sonography experience including biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and interventional sonography procedures.
• Follow radiology department policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain documentation and communicate results to referring physicians.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
