Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures for outpatients, inpatients and in the operating room settings. The role requires independent judgment and adherence to department standards.

The position requires completion of an approved ultrasound program, RDMS abdomen/OB certification, BLS CPR, and a minimum of 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience. Pay transparency and benefits are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an approved ultrasound program is required.
• Active RDMS certification in abdomen and obstetrics.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' diagnostic ultrasound experience after completing an approved program.

Aufgaben

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, interventional ultrasound and vascular exams for outpatients and inpatients.
• Perform ultrasound in surgical and bedside settings as needed according to standards and guidelines.
• Maintain technical skills and proper recording/transmission of patient information.
• Coordinate daily patient flow within the department and participate in continuing education.
• Capable of working independently and providing guidance to Level I Sonographers.
• Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, physicians and employees.
• Assume Ultrasound call as assigned.
