Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist II to join our radiology team. The role involves performing routine and interventional sonography under the radiologist's direction, adhering to safety and QA guidelines, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates must have ARDMS/ARRT certification, an accredited sonography program, and at least one year of hospital sonography experience, including biopsies. Strong communication with patients and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or School of Sonography.
• Current ARDMS/ARRT certification in good standing (S).
• Registered in vascular and at least three areas (OB/Gyn, AB, BR, FE/PS or RVT).
• Minimum one year hospital experience in medical sonography including biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures including routine and interventional sonography.
• Assist with quality improvement activities and adhere to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Accurately complete examinations as ordered by referring physicians and document findings.
