Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic/sonography program and meet clinical requirements.
• Current ARDMS or ARRT certification in good standing.
• Registered in vascular and proficient in OB/Gyn or related areas.
• Minimum one year hospital sonography experience including biopsies.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and interventional sonography procedures as ordered.
• Assist with biopsies and other interventional exams under radiologist supervision.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain and document equipment, orders and reports in the RIS.
