Collaboration with radiologists and staff is essential in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include an associate degree in sonography, BLS, and ARDMS/ARRT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent.
• 1+ year of ultrasound technologist experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS/ARRT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and obtain clinical history prior to scanning.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort, privacy, and cooperation.
