Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures, operate equipment, and develop films for permanent records. The role supports the Imaging Services Department and assists radiologists as needed.

Candidates must hold an Associate degree with required certifications (RVT, RDMS Abdomen/OB-GYN) and BCLS, with timely attainment within specified windows. This is a PRN position with call requirements in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RVT must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Associate Degree is required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS Abdomen Specialty or RDMS OB/GYN must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves to detect pathology.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and develop films for permanent records.
• Assist in daily operation of Imaging Services Department and support radiologist when required.
