Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Sonographer to perform advanced ultrasound imaging across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role includes assisting in complex procedures, integrating patient data, and communicating preliminary findings to physicians.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited sonography background, ARDMS credentials, and a preference for 1 year of experience. BLS within 90 days is required; position involves fulltime hours with shift variability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program and/or ARDMS registered or registry eligible.
• One year of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• ARDMS certifications in Abdomen, OB/GYN and RVT required/eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist in complex invasive procedures with a team.
• Interpret sonograms and communicate preliminary findings to physicians.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program

Associate degree or higher preferred

BLS certification within 90 days
