Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Sonographer to autonomously perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging for tertiary care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including abdominal, vascular, small parts, and OB/GYN exams. You will assist in complex invasive procedures with a collaborative team approach and communicate preliminary findings to physicians.

The role requires ARDMS certification or registry eligibility, with a preferred one year of experience and ongoing education to maintain

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program or ARDMS registered or eligible.
• One year of Sonographer experience preferred.
• ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN and RVT within 18 months of Mayo employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in outpatient and inpatient settings (abdomen, vascular, small parts, OB/GYN).
• Assist in complex invasive procedures and intraoperative cases with a team approach.
• Synthesize and communicate preliminary clinical diagnoses to physicians.
