Job summary

BayCare radiology and imaging team in Clearwater (Morton Plant) seeks a full-time Sonography Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and support imaging operations. The role involves RIS data management, patient transport, and assisting physicians in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or technical program completion, plus ultrasound specialization. BLS certification and RDMS or ARRT-specified credential within a year are required.

• Associates degree or equivalent technical program completed.
• Education in Ultrasound is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care and RIS data management, including filing and general clerical duties.
• Assists physicians, handles housekeeping duties as needed and assists with patient transportation.

Summary:
Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
