Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater (Morton Plant) seeks a Diagnostic Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams and support imaging workflows in a busy department. You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients, document results, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

On-site collaboration with radiologists and technologists is essential. ARDMS certification and BLS are required; RDMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in ultrasound (ARDMS) and BLS.
• Hospital imaging experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with radiologists and technologists.

Summary

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary. Assists with scheduling of staff, prioritization of patients, and supply resources for the department. Assists with on call coverage if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required Certifications include 1 ARDMS certification.
• 2 ARDMS certifications preferred.

• Required - Technical - Ultrasound; Or - Associates - Ultrasound
