Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures and manage RIS data while supporting imaging patient care. The role involves file room duties, clerical tasks, and assisting physicians. You may also handle housekeeping and patient transport as required.

The position requires ARRT/RDMS credentials, BLS, and ultrasound-specific education or equivalent experience. Work is in Winter Haven, with variable shifts including on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Education credentials in ultrasound or equivalent experience required.
• Technical ultrasound training with ability to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Current BLS certification and RDMS/ARRT/AART credentials as stated.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
