Job summary

BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a radiology sonographer to perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures and to support imaging patient care at Mease Countryside. The position supports physician assistance, housekeeping tasks, and patient transport, with shift variations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical program completion required.
• Education - Technical - Ultrasound; Associates - Ultrasound.
• Credentials: BLS certification; RDMS or ARRT within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures.
• Manage imaging data in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Assist physicians and handle related clerical and housekeeping duties.
• Support patient transport and other duties as needed.

Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
