Job summary

BayCare in Riverview, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic procedures in accordance with clinical and safety standards. The role encompasses imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room operations, physician assistance, and support tasks to ensure efficient departmental workflow.

Education includes an Associate degree in Ultrasound with RDMS and BLS credentials; non-exempt full-time position with shifts from 7am to 6:30pm, weekends every 3rd, on-site

Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards. This role is responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, including radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room operations, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, housekeeping support, patient transportation, and other related responsibilities necessary to ensure efficient and effective departmental workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Essential: Education Information in Comments

Education equivalent experience: Essential: Required – Technical – Ultrasound; Or – Associates – Ultrasound

Credentials: Essential: Basic Life Support; Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer

Credential equivalent experience: Essential: Required – BLS (Basic Life Support); Required – RDMS (Sonography); Required – BLS (Basic Life Support); Required – RDMS (Sonography)

Experience: Nonessential: Ultrasound
