Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital, part of Piedmont HealthCare, is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical exams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will provide patient services across age groups, communicate with radiologists and staff, and demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology. ARDMS/ARD-RT certification and BCLS are required, with continued credentialing post-employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or ARRT-approved program.
• ARDMS registration must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Vascular Sonographers must obtain RVT/RVS/RT(S)/RT(VS) within six months of employment.
• Breast Sonography (BS) licensure via ARDMS or ARRT required.

Responsibilities

Licenses and Certifications

• Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required
