Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical exams according to established standards. You will provide patient services using imaging modalities and deliver care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Must have AMA approved diagnostic sonography training, ARDMS registration, and BCLS certification; IAC-equivalent experience is acceptable.

• Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) equivalence required

Responsibilities

• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required or
• In Lieu of equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
• Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
• Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required
